Barack Obama, America's new president!Do we expect more out of our new president because of his race?
Will the bar be set to high for President Obama?
These are questions being raised around the world.
I believe race does not have anything to do with what he stands for and what he does in his presidential term. Being of African-American descent I do believe he will be more critized and the bar will be raised just because of that. Him being America's first black president raises many questions that will be answered over time. His message as a whole is bringing about real change in The White House and also in our weak economy. In tune with the new era Obama plans to do just that, and hopefully he will live up to the challenge.
What are your thoughts???
I, personally, don't expect more or less because of his skin color. I am hoping that he has sufficient experience to handle this really, really, big, important job!
